Hobby Boss USS Los Angeles Class SSN-688/VLS/688I 3-in-1 Model Kit

Build your own USS Los Angeles Class SSN-688/VLS/688I submarine model with this versatile kit from the US Navy. This kit allows you to construct your preferred configuration from three options: Flight I (688), Flight II (VLS), or Flight III (688 Improved).

The kit features a detailed full hull design, split into upper and lower sections with engraved and raised surface detailing. It includes a sail with optional extended periscopes and masts, along with a display stand featuring cradles and photo-etch parts such as nameplate screw blades and bridge shields. Optional parts enable you to choose between different upper hulls (with or without VLS doors), sails with or without planes, a Secondary Propulsion Motor, and optional bow planes.

Once assembled, the completed model measures approximately 12.3 inches in length.

Also included are a color painting guide and decals for three submarines: SSN-688 USS Los Angeles (Flight I), SSN-721 USS Chicago (Flight II with VLS), and SSN-755 USS Miami (Flight III, also known as 688i).
